Support Before, During, and After Your Appointment.

Medical appointment accompaniment in Atlanta, including support for a parent attending appointments, may include:

  • Preparing questions and organizing information before the appointment.
  • Accompanying the client using agreed transportation arrangements.
  • Helping communicate the client's questions and preferences.
  • Taking notes with permission.
  • Helping organize follow-up instructions and next steps.
  • Providing updates to authorized family members.

Accompaniment does not replace the treating clinician's advice or authorize any decision without the client's consent.

Discuss Appointment Support

Accompaniment Within Georgia and Beyond.

Planning a trip within Georgia or to another state? Contact At Your Call to discuss personalized travel accompaniment for yourself or a loved one. Each request is reviewed individually based on the itinerary, care needs, staffing, and applicable professional requirements.

In-state and out-of-state accompaniment we can discuss:

  • Travel to a medical appointment or treatment destination.
  • Returning home after a planned stay.
  • Traveling to join family.
  • Accompaniment during an agreed ground or commercial-air journey.

Before confirming a trip, we review the route, travel duration, mobility needs, level of support, and transportation arrangements. Any nursing services during interstate travel depend on appropriate professional authorization for the services and locations involved.

Plan Travel Support

Accompaniment is not a transportation service

Accompaniment provides personal support during a journey. Transportation is arranged separately unless expressly included in your written agreement.

Nursing accompaniment and non-clinical companionship are different services. The appropriate staff role is identified in each individual agreement.

This is a planned, non-emergency service. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Private, individual quotes

Accompaniment and travel support are individually quoted based on the schedule, destination, staffing, and level of assistance required. Before booking, your written quote clarifies:

  • Accompaniment hours.
  • Transportation arrangements and costs.
  • Waiting time.
  • Parking and tolls.
  • Airfare, lodging, or other travel expenses when applicable.
  • Return travel arrangements.
  • Cancellation and rescheduling terms.

Accompaniment is arranged and quoted separately unless expressly included in your written agreement.
